Recently I just moved into my first apartment, one of my biggest focuses was organizing my kitchen. I wanted my kitchen to be so aesthetically pleasing, and I made it mission to find easy walk in pantry organization ideas to do so. (Side note: I don’t like difficult task AT ALL). So, my real mission was to get this done but make it easy!
If your anything like me – I literally use Pinterest for everything (from figuring out what to make for dinner all the way to figuring out my outfit for the day). So with that being said I’m going to be sharing pantry organization ideas from Pinterest that I love the most. And I will be breaking down what I took from each of these ideas to put my pantry together that I know will make this so much easier for you because it did for me :).
Here Are 11 Unbelievably Easy and Cheap Walk In Pantry Organization Ideas:
#1: Clear Containers to Store Snacks
By far, this has to be one of my favorite ways to organize my snacks, cereals, and dry condiments in my pantry. Very simple and easy to do. If your running low on anything, it just makes it’s so easy to see and navigate what your next run to the grocery store will look like.
#2: Use Clear Containers with Lids to Store Dry Ingredients
I’m not the only person who cooks and always has tons of dry ingredients just stored in the plastic bags clipped up in the bags from the store. This has to be the most efficient and simplest way to store them. I can definitely say that I will be ordering these containers because they will for a fact hold the ingredients properly without anything getting in them!
#3: Wall Shelves to Store Seasonings
If you’re anything like my sister, you like to keep your seasonings in your pantry. And this has to be the perfect way to display them, and keep them all together. This is by far the most sleek way to keep your seasonings organized and decluttered.
#4: Turn Tables to Store Sauces
I’m a crazy sauce hoarder.. ALWAYS down to try a new sauce (especially when I go to Trader Joe’s .. never left without one😣) but let me just say I have one of these, and it’s one of best purchases I have ever made. No sauce ever gets bad. It’s displayed perfectly for me – there’s not one of my sauces that ever get unnoticed.
#5: Holder for Your Wine Bottles
Wine is every girls best friend. If you don’t have a wine cooler, and just store it in your pantry – this is definitely the best way to do it. It works for the fridge to if you like to keep your white wine chilled at all times.
#6: Basket with Labels to Store Fruits
Having a family definitely leads to buy fruits and veggies in larger bulks, and sometimes a fruit basket just isn’t enough.
This is a very effective way to organize your fruits, potatoes, and etc. leaving them easy to locate and grab. I find this concept very ideal and cute.
I would for sure do this when I have a family of my own.
#7: Cereal Dispensers
Not only is this super cute but also SOOO convenient. I always have so much cereals (it’s actually kind of bad!) I would just have boxes clustered in pantry and I absolutely hated it!! Along with the clear containers these dispenser are top tier – truly never going back.
#8: Install Lights Under Shelves
Nothing is worse than things going to waste because you can’t see them. If you tend to store a lot of stuff even if it’s organization containers, some things will tend to still going unnoticed.
Each shelf having there own individual light is definitely a plus!
#9: Install Pull Out Drawer for Storing
The technique of installing pull out drawers in your walk in pantry is absolute genius. This is also a great way to maximize your space.
If you’re not one to get a whole bunch of containers to categorize and separate everything in your pantry. This is 1000% the best thing you could do store your items to be able to see everything and create easy access.
You don’t even have to hire someone to do this. I have seen tons of people DIY this, and it comes out beautifully.

#10: Pots & Pans Wall Hangers
Pans and pans being the probably the most HARDEST thing to store and not look clustered this is an MUST!! Needless to say to creates such easy access. You no longer have to dig through a mount pile of pots to get the one you want will make you life so much easier.
#11: Use Rolling Hampers for Miscellaneous Items
I know your thinking rolling hamper for the pantry? Trust me when I say it the best thing to use to store items that necessarily have a category or place to be stored anywhere else, but you need them. Put it in the hamper.
It keeps those extra items hidden away, so it’s just not thrown just anywhere with easy access.
